Friday 13th November: Children in Need Walks 2026!!
As you know over the past 3 years Northamptonshire Walks has raised a significant amount of money for BBC Children in Need &, for the past 2 years, has done a 13 mile 7 Park Challenge
This year we’ve decided to do things a little differently & offer not one…but 2 Walks for those who would like a long or a shorter one.
And we’ve also decided to keep them “in-house” just for you, our members & your friends.
Next year we’ll go “large” again
So…here’s the details…
Longer Walk: Join Tonia, Dawn & Linda on an 8 mile Walk around Northampton, starting & finishing at Delapre Abbey at 10.30am. Please note this is a hard surface walk apart from the first & last bit around Delapre Lake
There’s no limit on spaces

Shorter Walk: Join Brenda on a 4 mile walk around Long Buckby starting at 10.30am. Limit on spaces of 20 people although we will run a reserve list. Please note there are fields & a couple of stiles on this walk

Donations: As always all our Group Walks are free, but we would ask you to consider a voluntary £5 donation to Children in Need through our Just Giving page at the link below. Or we’ll be collecting cash on the day
